Chief Accounting Officer (CAO)

The Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing the organization’s accounting activities. The CAO works closely with the CFO and ultimately reports to the CEO. 

The CAO is just one of many “C-suite” roles within an organization. 

Other important “C-suite” roles within an organization include the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Chief Operating Officer (COO), and Chief Compliance Officer (CCO).
